The course itself is known for the way it is embedded into the natural beauty of the desert landscape, working with the twists and turns of the foothills. Membership perks include priority tee time reservations, members-only events, discounts on pro shop merchandise, plus a reduced fee for accompanying guests. There are specials available to play 36 hole rounds and caddy services are available. Locker rooms with shower facilities are available as well as a driving range.

Although the course is a definite highlight, there are plenty of attractive options outside of golf. The community park contains play areas, tennis courts, a basketball court, and bike and walking trails. Green space is easy to find, even in the desert, since the community maintains 4 acres of recreation area for residents to enjoy. Plans for an adjacent park being built by the City of Scottsdale will provide even more recreational opportunities like soccer and softball fields.

For those looking for a more challenging hike, the trails at Pinnacle Peak are minutes away. Additionally, North Scottsdale is home to many popular restaurants and shops. A short 10-20 minute drive will get you to the Loop 101 Freeway, Scottsdale Airport, or Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak Hospital.
